This addon allows you to add the subscription option on user registration and manage list membership based on membership levels.Here are the steps to integrate ultimate Member with The Newsletter Plugin

  1. Install and activate The Newsletter Plugin and the Ultimate Member Addon for The Newsletter Plugin.
  2. Go to Ultimate Member > Settings > Addons and make sure the Ultimate Member Addon for The Newsletter Plugin is active.
  3. Configure the addon settings by going to Ultimate Member > Newsletter. Here, you can set the checkbox label for the subscription option during registration, enable/disable subscription on registration, and map membership levels to Newsletter lists.
  4. Add the Newsletter subscription field to the Ultimate Member registration form by going to Ultimate Member > Forms > Edit Form and adding a “Newsletter” field.
  5. Customize the Newsletter subscription field options by going to Ultimate Member > Forms > Edit Field for the Newsletter field.

Once you have completed these steps, users who register on your Ultimate Member site will have the option to subscribe to your Newsletter lists during registration. Additionally, you can manage list membership based on membership levels.Note: The standard welcome email is not sent when the subscription is created along with the registration. You can configure the welcome email and other email settings within The Newsletter Plugin.
